"...Whom
shall I send, and who will go for us?..."(Isa
6:8) this was the voice of the Lord
ringing in my heart, since my childhood. But
I was not in a position to respond to this
challenge.
I
was born on 14th December 1942 at Perpilangulam,
Thirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, South
India. As I was unable to continue my study
I went to Bombay in 1958, in search of job.
About 8 years I worked in the Gospel Literature
Press in Bombay. During this time, I joined
with a prayer group, through which
I came to know the way
of
salvation and had spritual
experiences. After I committed my life to Christ,
I started to do part time ministry. I got married
and moved to Gulf to work in a printing press.
There nearly for 21 years I worked and engaged
in doing part-time ministry and ministering in
Tamil Christian Congregation and Full Gospel Church
in Muscat, Oman.
During
my annual leave, I used to conduct Gospel Revival
Meetings in India and Sri Lanka. Many people committed
their life to Christ in these meetings. They were
added in the local churches. In every meetings
large number of people committed their life to
Christ. The burden of my heart concerning the
perishing souls increased. I realized my full-time
calling in many ways.
I
was working as a production manager in a large
printing press in Muscat, Oman. I resigned my
job in order to answer the voice of God and committed
to do full-time ministry. Thus, the Lord enabled
me to serve him full-time for the rest of my life
from 16-10-1994.
My
wife, who is very helpful and assisting me in
my ministry. She was saved in her youth. She got
a burden to serve among sisters. She was conducting
sisters meetings for some time in Full Gospel
Church, Oman. The Lord is using her mightily with
rich anointing among sisters.
Our
dedication service for the full-time ministry
was held on 6-12-1994 at GEMS Church, Madras,
India.
